I am a London-based NCTJ trained Writer and Editor, currently working full-time as Marketing and Publicity Assistant at Repeater Books.
I'm interested in writing about arts and inaccessbility, culture, literature, politics, gender and technology. Freelance clients include Tribune Magazine, Not9to5, UnderPinned Magazine and Strand Magazine. I have extensive work experience in Journalism (The Observer New Review, The Times Magazine) and Publishing (Penguin Random House, Pan Macmillan, Janklow & Nesbit, Jonathan Clowes).
I obtained my NCTJ training from the Press Association whilst studying part-time 2020-2021. I have training in essential journalism and ethics, media law, public affairs, court reporting, video production, podcast production, and Teeline shorthand.
I am a graduate of MA Contemporary Literature, Culture and Theory from King's College, London (Distinction). My dissertation broadly focused on conflicting nationalism(s) and uncanny representations within contemporary Swedish fiction, poetry and film. I have a First Class Honours degree in BA English & Comparative Literature from Goldsmiths College where I wrote my dissertation on Samuel Beckett and representations of disability.
I have over five years of experience working as a Senior Bookseller in both commercial and independent bookshops including Waterstones. I edit and co-founded the poetry anthology Away With Words - Selected Verse. More information on this can be found in the website section.
